Episcopal Visit from Bishop Minns

bpminnsBishop Martyn Minns, Missionary Bishop of the Convocation of Anglicans in North America, will visit All Saints this Sunday. He will celebrate the Eucharist and preach on the topic “First Things for Last Days” at the 11:15 AM service. There will be no 9:00 AM.

Guests are welcome at the service, and all baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s Table.

There will be a reception for Bishop Minns at Koinonia Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. Bishop Minns will conduct Lectio Divina, and there will be music, fellowship, and prayer.

Saturday, December 5, 2009

  • 8 AM—Morning Prayer
  • 9 AM—Clean-up/work day for the grounds and buildings Cancelled due to inclement weather
  • 9 AM—Beth Moore Bible study in Sunday School building Cancelled
  • 10 AM—Bishop Minns meets with the vestry in Ballard Hall
  • 10 AM—Mrs. Angela Minns meets with the Daughters of the King, intercessory prayer team, and ladies of the parish in Elisha House the children’s Sunday School classroom
  • 12 PM—Light lunch in the parish hall for everyone meeting with Bishop or Mrs. Minns

Sunday, December 6, 2009

  • 11:15 AM—Holy Eucharist: Bishop Minns celebrates and preaches (Note: there will be NO 9 AM service)
  • 6:00 PM—Koinonia, reception for Bishop, music, prayer, fellowship, Lectio Divina conducted by Bishop Minns
